Welcome to Watauga County, North Carolina Committee of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. The vision of the NAACP is to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights without discrimination based on race.

 

We are here for social justice, environmental justice, immigrant justice, educational justice, racial justice, legal justice and the equality of all people regardless of race, color, religion, creed, gender, ethnicity, national origin, gender expression, sexual orientation or disability. 

 

We fight FOR kindness, decency, equality, community, harmony, safety and acceptance!

 

We fight AGAINST bigotry, racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, homophobia, trans-phobia, white-nationalism, violence, hate and discrimination in it all of its forms.
